As I promised in my last entry, I will be doing a holiday gift guide for those of you who don't exactly know what to buy when gift shopping. I hope this will be helpful!
Fashion
Uggs are a must-have for winter. They may not be exactly in your price range this holiday season, but many stores like target and walmart sell their own "copy-cat" version that is much cheaper (I actually own two pairs of target ones myself). My experience with the walmart versions weren't the best (An odd white substance appeared on the heel and would not come off), but the target ones are nearly flawless.
Sweaters are defiantly an essential for fall and winter. They can be worm over-sized, so it works great if you aren't sure what size to get (just make sure it's not too massive).
Fuzzy or printed socks are a must-have for the holiday season. They keep your feet warm and usually have super cute colors or patterns.
Beauty
*I would suggest buying a few of every beauty item and putting it inside of a cute little basket instead of buying it individually*
Another must-have is lip balms. Two very popular ones (at least among my circle of friends) right now are eos lip balms and maybelline baby lips. They both retail in most stores for under $5.00, so they should fit right into your shopping list. If whoever you're shopping for isn't a fan of eos or baby lips, any other kinds of chapstick should do.
Things Not To Buy
- Socks (Unless fuzzy or printed)
- Earrings (Only if the person you are shopping for doesn't have pierced ears)
- Anything they already have (Unless they want more than just one)
- Anything you know someone is also getting them (Unless they want more than one)
So those are all of the things I could think of for last-minute shoppers. I hope this helps! My next entry might be a recipe for DIY hot chocolate...I think I'm going to start making a blogging schedule. Perhaps I'll do one entry at the beginning and end of each month...? I'll let you know when I figure it all out.
